Pallet strapping machines
A pallet strapping machine does precisely what its name says. It binds goods together on pallets. Strapping goods on pallets is advantageous because they are firmly bound together and will remain secure during transport. The risk of damage to goods on pallets during the transport process decreases considerably when they are properly bound with a strapping machine. Corner boards can also be applied to give extra strength to the pallet load. This ensures that the pallets are even firmer and will be bound in a straighter line.

Pallet strapping: Semi-automatic or automatic
Pallets can be bound using both semi-automatic and fully-automatic strapping machines. A semi-automatic strapping machine is suitable for companies that only process a few pallets per day. With a semi-automatic model, the user drives the machine to the pallets, and then applies the straps manually. A fully-automatic strapping machine does not require any manual labour, apart from selecting the machine settings on the control panel. The automatic pallet strapping machines are used regularly in production lines and they can handle large numbers of pallets.
Easy pallet strapping instead of sealing
Strapping pallets is much cheaper than sealing. For example, binding goods using a pallet strapping machine involves comparatively very little time. Sealing also creates a lot of mess when unpacking, unlike strapping. In addition to that, sealing deprives fresh products of air, which can lead to losses.
